The Perdana Circumcision Program is a mass circumcision event. Circumcision is highly encouraged in Islam. According to the Shafi'i school of thought, circumcision is obligatory for both males and females, as stated by Imam Nawawi in his book Al-Majmu'.
Therefore, the Al Baghdadi Foundation invites benefactors to participate in contributing to this program. All participants who wish to be circumcised will be sponsored by the Al Baghdadi Foundation based on the amount of donations received. The target of the Al Baghdadi Foundation is to sponsor 400 participants with a total of RM80,000. Hopefully, this campaign will alleviate the burden on those who are less able to pay the circumcision fees while also practicing the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.
